Yes. The specialist inserts a fine single-use probe into each follicle individually, and a pulse of current destroys the papilla that feeds the hair. After each treatment the hair grows weaker until it stops growing completely, so once the course is finished you need no maintenance treatments. Electrolysis is the only method that removes hair permanently.

You pay for the treatment time: 15 minutes is 120 zł, one hour is 260 zł, and longer visits work out cheaper per minute. The first removal of all hair from this area takes at least 30 minutes in total. After that, visits get shorter and shorter, and so cheaper. You will learn the exact plan and the cost of the course at the consultation (150 zł).

Everyone feels it differently. You don't feel the probe going in, because it enters the natural opening of the hair follicle. Then there is a gentle warmth or slight tingling, and you no longer feel the hair being lifted out with tweezers. We work with the Apilus xCell Pro and adjust the settings to your skin. The consultation includes a 15-minute trial treatment, so you can feel it for yourself before starting a course. If you are sensitive to pain, you can apply an anaesthetic cream at home about an hour before your visit or ask us for free anaesthesia at the salon.

Removing all the hair in this area for the first time takes from 30 minutes in total. We spread it over several weekly visits. After that, visits get shorter and less frequent as there is less hair. We will agree the exact plan at the consultation.

At first once a week, until we have removed all the hair for the first time. Then every 2 to 3 weeks, and finally every 4 to 6 weeks, as only a few weak hairs remain. The whole course usually takes a year to a year and a half. The exact number of visits depends on hair density, genetics and hormones. If new hair appears with hormonal changes, we remove it in the same way.

The hairs need to be clearly visible and at least 3 to 4 mm long, so for about 3 weeks before your visit do not pluck them with tweezers or thread, and do not wax. For a few days before the treatment, moisturise your skin well: hydrated skin needs less current, so the treatment is felt less. On the day of your visit, do not apply any products to your face. For 2 weeks before the treatment, avoid the sun, sunbeds and skincare with acids (AHA, BHA) and retinol, and for 24 hours before it, skip alcohol, coffee and cigarettes. Between treatments, do not remove the hairs by any other method.

For the first 24 hours, keep the treated skin dry and do not touch it with unwashed hands. For 3 days, cleanse it once or twice a day with an antiseptic solution and apply a panthenol cream or foam. For 10 days, avoid saunas, swimming pools, the gym, hot baths, the sun and sunbeds. Do not use scrubs, ointments, oils or products containing alcohol. Until the skin has healed, do not wear make-up or foundation, change your pillowcase and protect the skin with an SPF cream.

Right after the treatment the skin may be red and slightly swollen. This is a normal reaction that settles within 3 to 5 hours, and the skin usually heals within 5 to 7 days. Sometimes tiny round scabs the size of the follicle opening appear: don't pick them, they will disappear on their own without a trace within 2 to 4 weeks.

Yes. The current destroys the hair follicle regardless of pigment, so hair colour doesn't matter. We remove blonde, red, grey, fine and curly hair, as well as vellus hair that laser cannot deal with.

Laser targets dark pigment, so it struggles with blonde, red, grey and fine hair. Electrolysis destroys each follicle individually, regardless of hair colour and thickness, and the result is permanent. If laser left you with stray hairs or fine vellus hair, electrolysis will remove them.
