Terms and Conditions for Using Electrolysis Studio Services
§ 1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions for the use of the electrolysis studio (hereinafter referred to as the "Studio Regulations") set out the rules for individuals purchasing or intending to purchase electrolysis services—or for whom such services have been purchased by a third party (hereinafter referred to as the "Client"). Services are provided by electrolysis studios operated by ELEKTROEPILACJA.PL Sp. z o.o., based in Warsaw (Grzybowska Street 87, 00-844 Warsaw), KRS 0001064299, REGON 526700960, NIP 5273080710 (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"). Contact: contact@elektroepilacja.pl, tel: +48 515 222 832.
All capitalized terms used herein shall have the meaning assigned to them in the Website Terms of Use unless otherwise stated.
The Company or its partners provide services and sell products at the electrolysis studios under agreements concluded either via the website or directly at the studio ("Service Agreement" or "Sales Agreement").
Each studio operates according to its own schedule. Information is available on the website, at the Company’s office, at the studio, or by contacting the provided details.
The studio offers comprehensive electrolysis services for different areas of the body, consultations, and other non-medical aesthetic services (collectively referred to as the "Services"), as well as the sale of related products.
The main procedure is electrolysis: a permanent hair removal method that uses a thin probe inserted into the hair follicle, followed by electrical current destroying the hair root ("Electrolysis Procedure"). Other aesthetic procedures may also be available (together, the "Procedures").
Studios may offer packages covering selected body zones, which must be used within 12 months from the date of the first procedure ("Package").
It’s also possible to purchase custom time-based service packages, which must be used within a defined period. These can be arranged directly at the studio.
Services are available to adults and minors with limited legal capacity only if a legal guardian provides written consent in person before the procedure begins.
§ 2. Entering into an Agreement
Purchasing a service or product at the studio implies the Client has read and agrees to these Regulations. The Client also confirms they have no medical contraindications and accepts the provisions of the Client Card.
A sales agreement is concluded at the moment of payment.
A service agreement is concluded upon receipt of payment. A confirmation is sent by email or SMS.
Payments can be made in cash, by card or online.
Withdrawal from the sales or service agreement is not allowed.
The Client must use the purchased service no later than 6 months from the date of payment. Otherwise, the service is considered forfeited, with no refund.
§ 3. Client Obligations
The Client is required to read these and other applicable regulations and follow the staff’s instructions. Undergoing a procedure signifies acceptance of the rules.
The Client Card (which includes a health questionnaire, risk acknowledgment, and consent form) must be completed and signed before or after the procedure. The form is also available online.
Before any procedure, the Client must undergo a medical interview. They are obligated to inform the staff about any illnesses, medications, and potential contraindications (including pregnancy, infections, chronic diseases, etc.).
By purchasing a service, the Client declares they have no health issues that would contraindicate the procedure and accepts the terms of these Regulations.
Contraindications include, but are not limited to: HIV, hepatitis, skin conditions, inflammation, pregnancy (first trimester), breastfeeding (first 6 months), epilepsy, cancer, cardiovascular diseases, use of photosensitive medications, varicose veins, isotretinoin or antibiotic treatment, decompensated diabetes, fever, blood clotting disorders, metal implants in the treatment area, pacemakers, menstruation, asthma, electrical sensitivity, and more. If uncertain, consult a doctor.
The Client must inform staff if feeling unwell before or during the procedure. After the procedure, all aftercare recommendations must be followed strictly.
Staff have the right to refuse treatment in case of contraindications or doubts. If the service was already paid for, a refund will be provided.
§ 4. Studio Offering
Prices published online (except for procedures) do not constitute a binding commercial offer within the meaning of applicable civil law. The only binding source of current prices (excluding procedures) is the price list available at the Studio. The Studio reserves the right to apply individual pricing (including individual discounts) on a case-by-case basis.
Prices for procedures and procedure packages are set out in the Studio’s current price list (available at the Studio and, where applicable, also on the website). All listed prices include VAT, unless stated otherwise.
The prices shown in the price list apply only to standard procedures/services included in the Studio’s offering. If a Client requests a non-standard service that falls outside the scope of the listed offer, the Client will be informed of the final total gross price before the service is performed and may decide not to proceed. If a payment was made in advance and the final price changes due to an individual discount or qualification of the service as non-standard, the Studio will either refund the difference or the Client will be required to pay the difference, as applicable. If the Client chooses not to proceed due to such a price change, any payment made for that service will be refunded.
Discounts, promotions, and promo codes offered by the Company or a Partner cannot be combined, unless the specific promotion rules expressly state otherwise.
Services sold as part of a package are, as a rule, not eligible for additional discounts, unless the terms of a specific promotion provide otherwise.
The validity period of a single procedure purchase, as well as the validity period and parameters of packages (including, in particular, the number of sessions/procedures included and the time available to use them), are determined by the offer in force at the time of purchase (as shown in the current price list, on the website, or communicated at the Studio). After the validity period expires, the purchase/package becomes invalid and the Client loses any rights arising from it, including the right to a refund or compensation, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
If fewer sessions are used than included in the purchased package, no refund is provided for unused sessions, unless the applicable offer terms state otherwise. If additional sessions are needed beyond the purchased package, the Client may purchase additional sessions at the price set out in the current price list.
The Company may occasionally offer promotional purchases via Groupon or similar platforms. Such vouchers are personal, non-transferable, typically single-use (unless the voucher terms provide otherwise), and may require proof of identity. Payment made via Groupon under the voucher terms is treated as payment for the relevant procedure or package.
The Company may, at its sole discretion, run promotional campaigns or grant bonuses (including for new Clients), which may include, for example, a fixed-amount discount, a discount on a first procedure/package, or a voucher benefit. Such promotions may be available only for a limited time, in selected locations, or under specific conditions, or may not be available at all. The detailed rules, eligibility criteria, and the amount/value of any discount/bonus are defined by the organizer and communicated on the website, at the Studio, or in separate promotion terms. The Company reserves the right to change, suspend, or end promotions in accordance with applicable law.
Products and services purchased in the Studio are non-refundable, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
Procedure effectiveness depends on individual factors (including hair structure and growth cycle stage). Therefore, specific results are not guaranteed.
§ 5. Liability
If the Client fails to disclose contraindications or breaches the Regulations, the Studio and the Company bear no responsibility for any resulting consequences.
Likewise, the Company is not liable for lack of expected results or side effects if the Client does not follow the aftercare instructions.
Information provided by staff is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.
Electrolysis targets individual hair follicles and does not guarantee the absence of new hair growth — this is a natural process.
§ 6. Complaints
Complaints must be submitted in writing via registered mail to the Company’s address. The complaint must include the Client’s full name, address, contact info, studio details, subject of the complaint, and its justification.
The Company may request additional information if necessary. A response will be provided within 14 days. If no response is issued within this period, the complaint is considered accepted.
In case of a dispute, out-of-court dispute resolution methods may be used (e.g. mediation or arbitration) in accordance with uokik.gov.pl.
§ 7. Appointments
Appointments can be scheduled through the website, the online service, or a mobile app.
Clients must arrive at least 5 minutes early. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may result in shortened procedures or rescheduling. If the Client is at fault, no refund will be issued.
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Otherwise, the appointment is considered used and non-refundable. Three no-shows in a row may require a prepayment for future appointments.
Prepayments must be made at least 1 day in advance.
Gift vouchers are available. If a Client misses the appointment without timely cancellation, the voucher is considered used. Extension is only possible upon individual agreement.
The studio may cancel or reschedule an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, with at least 24 hours’ notice. The Client may choose a new date or request a refund.
§ 8. Final Provisions
No food consumption is allowed on the premises. Smoking and alcohol use are strictly prohibited.
The studio does not take responsibility for unsupervised children — guardians are fully responsible.
The Client is financially liable for any damage to equipment caused by them.
The studio is not responsible for valuables left outside designated storage areas.
In matters not regulated herein, the Polish Civil Code applies.
The Company reserves the right to amend these Regulations. Clients will be informed at least 14 days before changes take effect.
The Regulations are available on the website and at the studios.
Legal relationships are governed by Polish law.
If any provision is found invalid, the rest of the Regulations remain in force.
These Regulations are effective as of February 23, 2024.
