Back electrolysis for men
First full clearance of the area: 2 to 5 hours in total, over several visits
Visit: from 120 zł per 15 minutes
Back hair is hard to remove comfortably on your own, and shaving or waxing has to be repeated again and again. Electrolysis solves this problem for good.
The specialist inserts a thin probe into the hair follicle and, with a short pulse of current, destroys the cells the hair grows back from. You can remove all the hair or just thin it out.
The back is a large area, so we plan the course individually and spread it over several visits. For a full course, Karta Kursu pays off: 10% off every treatment.

Safety
We remove each hair individually with a thin, sterile, disposable probe. We adjust the treatment settings to your skin, and any redness usually fades within a few hours. If you find pain hard to bear, ask for free anaesthesia.
Effectiveness
Electrolysis destroys the follicle of each hair, so a removed hair does not grow back. It works on hair of any colour, including light and grey hair. If hair growth is driven by hormones, new hairs may appear, which is why we plan the course individually.

We plan every course individually: we match the length and frequency of visits to your hair and skin. If you are sensitive to pain, you can apply a numbing cream at home about an hour before your visit or ask us for free anaesthesia on site.
Before the treatment, hair should be 3 to 4 mm long. Moisturise your skin well for a few days, and on the day of the visit do not apply any cosmetics to it.
After booking, we will email you full guidance for before and after the treatment.
The cost depends on treatment time, the size of the area and hair density. At the consultation, a specialist will assess your case and tell you how much time you will need.
At the consultation you will see how your skin reacts to the treatment.
Redness and swelling are a normal reaction and subside within 3 to 5 hours.

FAQ
Men's back electrolysis: how does the skin react after treatment?
Right after the treatment the skin may be red and slightly swollen. This is a normal reaction that settles within 3 to 5 hours, and the skin usually heals within 5 to 7 days. Sometimes tiny round scabs the size of the follicle opening appear: don't pick them, they will disappear on their own without a trace within 2 to 4 weeks.
Is men's back electrolysis safe?
Yes. We use only sterile, single-use probes and disinfect the skin before and after the treatment. When you first book, you fill in a questionnaire that helps rule out contraindications, and at the consultation we check how your skin reacts to the current. Electrolysis works on every skin and hair type.
Does back electrolysis for men also remove light and grey hair?
Yes. The current destroys the hair follicle regardless of pigment, so hair colour doesn't matter. We remove blonde, red, grey, fine and curly hair, as well as vellus hair that laser cannot deal with.
Back electrolysis for men or laser: which to choose?
Laser targets dark pigment, so it struggles with blonde, red, grey and fine hair. Electrolysis destroys each follicle individually, regardless of hair colour and thickness, and the result is permanent. If laser left you with stray hairs or fine vellus hair, electrolysis will remove them.
Who is men's back electrolysis for?
For men who want to get rid of the hair in this area for good or just thin it out. You decide what result you want, and we tailor the treatment plan to it.
Can I have hair removed from other areas too?
Yes. We remove hair from the face, body and intimate area (intimate area treatments are for women only). Several areas can be treated in one visit. The only exception is hair growing from moles: the mole must first be removed by a doctor, and once the skin has healed you can come in for treatment.
Does men's back electrolysis remove hair permanently?
Yes. The specialist inserts a fine single-use probe into each follicle individually, and a pulse of current destroys the papilla that feeds the hair. After each treatment the hair grows weaker until it stops growing completely, so once the course is finished you need no maintenance treatments. Electrolysis is the only method that removes hair permanently.
How do I book men's back electrolysis?
Book online: choose the type of visit, the day and the time in the calendar, then enter your contact details. If this is your first visit, start with a consultation with a trial treatment (30 minutes, 150 zł). When you book for the first time, you will also fill in a short questionnaire. You will receive a confirmation by text message and e-mail, and the e-mail also contains advice on how to prepare for the treatment. Prefer to talk? Call us on +48 515 222 832.
How much does back electrolysis for men cost?
You pay for the treatment time: 15 minutes is 120 zł, one hour is 260 zł, and longer visits work out cheaper per minute. The first removal of all hair from this area takes 2 to 5 hours in total. After that, visits get shorter and shorter, and so cheaper. You will learn the exact plan and the cost of the course at the consultation (150 zł).
Does back electrolysis for men hurt?
Everyone feels it differently. You don't feel the probe going in, because it enters the natural opening of the hair follicle. Then there is a gentle warmth or slight tingling, and you no longer feel the hair being lifted out with tweezers. We work with the Apilus xCell Pro and adjust the settings to your skin. The consultation includes a 15-minute trial treatment, so you can feel it for yourself before starting a course. If you are sensitive to pain, you can apply an anaesthetic cream at home about an hour before your visit or ask us for free anaesthesia at the salon.
Men's back electrolysis: how long does one visit take?
The first removal of all the hair in this area takes 2 to 5 hours in total. We spread it over several weekly visits. After that, visits become shorter and less frequent as there is less and less hair. We will agree on an exact plan at the consultation.
Men's back electrolysis: how often do I need to come?
At first once a week, until we have removed all the hair for the first time. Then every 2 to 3 weeks, and finally every 4 to 6 weeks, as only a few weak hairs remain. The whole course usually takes 1 to 2 years. The exact number of visits depends on hair density, genetics and hormones. If new hair appears with hormonal changes, we remove it in the same way.
